PLUMBING ENGINEER/PROJECT MANAGER
Responsibilities: Must be able to size, select, specify and layout plumbing equipment in coordination with other disciplines. A strong foundation and knowledge of national building and plumbing codes and the ability to prepare construction drawings and specifications is required. Candidates must have the desire and proven ability to plan, organize, direct and control assigned projects and production budgets to meet project schedules. Additional responsibilities will include performing quality control and coordination reviews, preparing feasibility studies and probable cost analysis, attending coordination and design meetings with clients, interfacing with local and national departments of building and safety, performing field surveys and preparing reports, and assisting in construction administration duties (RFI's, Shop Drawings Reviews, etc.) during the projects construction support phase.
Qualifications:
8-10 years of experience as a plumbing engineer or designer within the consulting profession for commercial, health care, entertainment, food service, hotel/hospitality, institutional, and/or industrial facilities. Must be AutoCAD and computer literate and proficient with Word, Excel and Power Point. B.S. Mechanical Engineering and Professional Engineers Registration preferable, but not required.
