MILITARY OVERVIEW

Popov Engineers, Inc. has successfully provided mechanical, plumbing, and electrical consulting and design services to the Departments of Defense, Navy, Air Force, and the Army since its founding in 1975.

We have delivered our services as prime contractors and as major sub-contractors on projects representing a full range of acquisition requirements including IDIQ-Multiple Award Construction contracts, Design Build contracts, and the more conventional Design-Bid-Build contracts.

Our professional services have been provided on over 35 military bases throughout the United States on a broad range of project types including: vehicle maintenance facilities, laboratories, air traffic control towers, training centers, armament facilities, bachelor quarters, child care centers, hangars, recreation / fitness centers, retail complexes, warehouses, food service facilities, and community centers. We also have special projects experience on support systems serving experimental aircraft, testing and maintenance facilities, tanks, nuclear submarines, and aircraft carriers.

In addition to our direct work for the Department of Defense, we have also served scientific institutions and private industry facilities with our expertise in support of military and government operations including the Hughes Satellite Command Center, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California.
