INSTITUTIONAL OVERVIEW

Popov Engineers, Inc. has provided design and consulting services for municipal, civic, law enforcement, and various other public institution projects for over 20 years.

Institutional projects provide architects, interior designers and engineers with the chance to project an image of our culture and influence the manner in which future generations will remember our society. They offer us the opportunity to serve the public interest and, as a consequence, we have found them to be amongst our most rewarding projects.

Institutional projects also represent symbolic and economic investments made by our citizenry for current and future generations to carry out our society’s civic duties and obligations to its people. As such, these buildings must overcome the common paradox of welcoming the public while at the same time conveying authority, stability and safety. They must also demonstrate our society’s commitment to energy efficiency, sustainable design and conservation of the environment.
