ELECTRICAL ENGINEER/PROJECT MANAGER

Responsibilities: Must be able to function in the role of Lead Electrical Engineer. This will include, but not be limited to, performing Electrical Load Calculations, Fault-Current Calculations, Coordination Analysis, Voltage Drop Calculations, Title-24 Energy Calculations, Photometric Calculations, sizing, selecting, specifying and laying out electrical distribution and lighting equipment (switchgear, switchboards, panel boards, transformers, etc.) and devices in coordination with other disciplines. A strong foundation and knowledge of national building and electrical codes and the ability to prepare electrical construction documents (including lighting plans, power plans, tele/data plans, one-line diagrams and specifications) is required. Candidates must have the desire and proven ability to plan, organize, direct and control assigned personnel and production budgets to meet project schedules. Additional responsibilities will include performing quality control and coordination reviews, preparing feasibility studies and probable cost analysis, attending coordination and design meetings with clients, interfacing with local and national departments of building and safety, performing field surveys and preparing field observation reports, and assisting in construction administration duties (Responding to RFI's, Shop Drawings Reviews, etc.) during the projects construction support phase.

Qualifications: 12-15 years of experience in electrical engineering and design within the consulting profession for commercial, high technology, health care, entertainment, food service, hotel/hospitality, institutional, and/or industrial facilities. Must be AutoCAD and computer literate and proficient with Word, Excel and Power Point. B.S. Electrical Engineering and Professional Engineers Registration are required.
