ELECTRICAL DESIGNERS

Responsibilities: Must be able to perform Electrical Load Calculations, Voltage Drop Calculations, Title-24 Energy Calculations, Photometric Calculations and size, select, specify and layout electrical distribution and lighting equipment (switchgear, switchboards, panel boards, transformers, etc.) and devices under the supervision of a senior electrical engineer. Must also understand electrical design and construction codes and principles sufficiently to coordinate the electrical design work with other disciplines. Additional duties will include, shop drawing reviews, responding to contractor requests for information, performing field surveys and preparing field observation reports. A fundamental understanding of the National Electrical Code is essential.

Qualifications: 7-10 years of experience in the design of electrical distribution systems for commercial, high technology, health care, hotel/hospitality, institutional, and/or industrial facilities. Must be AutoCAD and computer literate and proficient with Word and Excel.
