Lakewood Regional Medical Center (LRMC)
Lakewood, California

The Lakewood Regional Medical Center is a 172-bed acute care hospital built in 1972. The final phase of the Nuclear Medicine Camera Replacement Project was recently inspected and approved by the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD) and is now in full operation. Popov Engineers Inc. has provided consulting services at LRMC on various other projects to include the following:

• 3rd Floor (Cardiovascular Surgery and Intensive Care Unit) Build-Out
• R & F Equipment Replacement
• Digital R & R Room Renovation
• Radiology Equipment Room Renovation
• Triage Room renovation

AMC – Otay Ranch 15-Plex Theatre
Chula Vista, California

The $8.5 M project provides for the design and construction of a new 63,000 square foot, 2,132-seat movie theatre in the new 85-acre Otay Ranch retail, dining, entertainment and recreation development in southern San Diego County. Like most AMC Theatres, the facility will feature an automated box office, stadium style seating and the latest Sony Dynamic Digital Sound (SDDS) System with “THX” digital surround sound as well as state-of-the-art projection automation systems in all fifteen auditoriums.
